The band is open to anyone in the Scout or Guide Association between the ages of 8 and 25.

You don't need to have any previous experience or be able to play an instrument. We provide all the guidance and tuition you'll need.

We'll provide you with an instrument if you don't have your own, and also provide you with the band issue uniform.

Unlike many other bands, The Spitfires don't have a training band. Everyone is immediately part of the main band and can take part in performances.

We rehearse from 18.30 - 21.00pm every Thursday evening at the 14th Eastleigh Scout Hut in Allbrook (see map). Just come along and see what you think!!
